Global Ecovillage Network
The Global Ecovillage Network connects ecovillages, intentional communities, and sustainability projects worldwide. With members in over 100 countries, GEN facilitates knowledge exchange, advocacy, and education to accelerate the global transition to regenerative living, offering the internationally recognized Ecovillage Design Education (EDE) program.
Schumacher College
Inspired by E.F. Schumacher's "Small is Beautiful," Schumacher College has for over 35 years pioneered a lived, life-centred approach to learning. Programs cover regenerative food systems, ecological design, social transformation, and creative cultures, equipping students with the competency, agency, presence, and sensibility needed for systemic transformation.
Tamera Peace Research Center
Tamera is a peace research center and ecovillage in Portugal that has been developing models for sustainable community since 1995. It focuses on healing the relationship between humans and nature, between men and women, and between communities and the global whole through research, education, and demonstration projects in water retention, solar energy, and community design.
Pachamama Alliance
Founded through a partnership with the Achuar people of the Amazon, the Pachamama Alliance works at the intersection of indigenous wisdom, environmental protection, and social justice. Their "Awakening the Dreamer" symposium has reached hundreds of thousands of people globally, inviting participants to examine the assumptions underlying modern culture and co-create a sustainable future.
